All of our doctoral students receive five years of financial support from the Division of the Humanities.

Renewal of this award is contingent on satisfactory academic progress. Additional fellowships and awards are available to support language study, conference travel, and research travel.
After the initial five year Division of the Humanities fellowship, advanced doctoral students receive partial tuition aid, access to purchase university health insurance coverage, grants for research and conference travel, and are funded by a variety of teaching opportunities and fellowships.
