More than 100 staff members work in the Division of the Humanities. We'll introduce you to our staff in this continuing series.
What do you like most about your job?
I love making connections that support people’s passions–whether it’s bringing artists to appreciative audiences, or inviting scholars to give pre-concert lectures or write on music they’ve studied, or helping audiences to discover new repertoire or artists. It’s all a joy.
What was the last good book you read?
Amor Towles’ Rules of Civility–and I’ve just started Moby Dick.
You might work with me if you...
…are interested in collaborating with artists. I believe interdisciplinarity enriches all, and I look for connections across the music whenever possible.
What is your favorite thing to do in Chicago during the summer?
It’s hard to choose one. I’d have to say biking on the lakefront path.
