More than 100 staff members work in the Division of the Humanities. We'll introduce you to our staff in this continuing series.
Director, Communications and Public Relations, Department of Music
Office: Logan Center 217
What do you like most about your job?
I love connecting people to wonderful experiences! There are so many fantastic music events on campus and I want to be able to share them with as many people as possible. I also get to hear a lot of great music performed by talented people, which is a definite job perk.
What was the last good book you read?
I’ve been reading all of the novels by Liane Moriarty (author of Big Little Lies, which was recently adapted into an HBO TV series, but I haven’t gotten to that book, yet). Her stories are fun and easy to read with a little bit of mystery, but not too much suspense.
You might work with me if you...
Would like to cross-promote or share your event with the Music Department through our website, email lists, and social media, or if you want to discuss unique ways connect our music and programs to the community.
What are some of your favorite things to do in Chicago during the Spring?
I’m eager for spring weather to arrive so I can ride my bike on the Lakefront trail and relax in my hammock in the park. I’m also looking forward to exploring new restaurants with outdoor patio seating.
