What do you like most about your job?
I enjoy the mixture of strategy, data, content creation and student facing work. Each day is different than the last, and I always look forward to helping incoming students make connections as they consider applying to the University!
What was the last good book you read?
I love to read (physical books only please, no e-readers!), especially books that have unique intersections with history. An interesting book I’ve read recently is ‘November’s Fury: The Deadly Great Lakes Hurricane of 1913’ by Michael Schumacher.
You might work with me if you need...
If you need help with student recruitment, or assistance with marketing your program to prospective students. I can also help any incoming or prospective students with questions about applying to your program.
Do you have any advice for departments as MA and PhD application deadlines approach?
Keep on top of your email inboxes - and ask me for help with student outreach as the deadline approaches.
What's your favorite thing about Chicago during the holiday season:
The lights, the music, seasonal beer, comfort food, the spirit of empathy and giving that awakens in many this time of year. I’m from the Midwest and have always enjoyed the changing seasons.
