For meetings related to academic standing and academic progress, support persons are not permitted to be present in conversations between an individual student and faculty. Students can bring an individual to provide emotional and personal support to them before or after any such meeting, but that individual cannot be in the meeting directly. Students can also speak with the Dean of Students should additional support and resources be needed.

Students can bring a support person to student conduct meetings per the area discipline review policy.
