Danielle Allen, the former Dean of the Division of the Humanities at UChicago from 2004 to 2007, is the James Bryant Conant University Professor and the Director of the Edmond J. Safra Center for Ethics at Harvard University. Her scholarship embraces study of the classics, political science, and ethics.
