DescriptionPlease join us for a (virtual) roundtable discussion on the issues surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic and its implications for democracy in Israel. Our panelists include: Yifat Bitton, President of Achva Academic College of Education & Science and chair of Tmura–The Israeli Center for Equality, an organization that advocates for disadvantaged groups; Natan Sachs, director of the Brookings Institution's Center for Middle East Policy in Washington DC; and Liat Schlesinger, executive director of the Israeli think tank Molad, the Center for the Renewal of Israeli Democracy.The moderator for this event will be Yaniv Ron-El, University of Chicago.
