DescriptionThe colloquium is a forum for free, non-hierarchical exchange of ideas among all members of the Department of Comparative Literature.

Frederick de Armas will be talking about projects he finished during his recent leave and how they came to be published. The main focus of the talk will be on the two projects he is working on now, "Of Veils and Windows: Sightless Ekphrases and Vanishing Sites."

Sam Lasman will be talking about the development of historical-fantastic narratives in early medieval Britain and Iran.
