SIXTIETH
-ANNIVERSARY CONSTELLATION
Here on the
occasion of Chicago Review’s
sixtieth
anniversary is a constellation of more than eighty pieces accompanied
by narrative captions that offer a selective biography of the magazine.
This online
anthology is
based on the out-of-print Autumn 1996
double-issue
edited by David Nicholls (read his intro here).
This
summer Kristi McGuire and Eirik Steinhoff supplemented the fifty-some
pieces
included in the 1996 issue with another thirty of more recent vintage,
bringing
the story up to date.
