Scanned at the ARTFL Project, December 1994. Images are 100 percent
scale, 300 dpi, 256 greyscale, with adjustments to brightness and contrast
to increase legibility (Epson scanner, brightness = 5, contrast = 9,
mid-range greys darkened). Tiff images average 201.5KB, while GIF
compressed images average 58.6KB. All image conversions and generation
of html pages were performed automatically. Scanning of 85 pages of
text took about 2 hours by a graduate assistant once the scanner was
set to appropriate parameters.
