Welcome to the home page of the Department of Classics’ Program in the Ancient Mediterranean World. Drawing on the resources of five departments, the Divinity School, and the prestigious Oriental Institute, the Program offers a unique interdisciplinary opportunity to engage in comparative research into the history and culture of the ancient Mediterranean and Near East.
