SPECIAL INTERESTS: Persian Literature, especially poetry (classical and modern); all issues related to the Language of Poetry and Style in different poets and different periods of Persian Literature; Persian Prosody; History and Culture of Modern Iran, especially from the Qâjâr period to the present; Translation of Literary Texts; Comparative Literature (Persian/German/English); Persian Grammar; Teaching Persian to Non-Native Learners.

From 1964 numerous poems published in different issues of Persian journals and weeklies in Iran and later in Europe and North America, among others in the following: Setāre-je Ghotb, Hirmand, Khorāsan, Āftāb-e Scharq, Musik-e Iran, Dschahān-e Now, Ārasch, Ketāb-e Dschom’eh, Schahrvand, Nāmeh-je Kānun-e Nevisandegān-e Irān dar Tab’id, Daftar-hā-je Kānun-e Nevisandegān-e Irān dar Tab’id, Rāh-e Kārgar, Ruzegār-e Now, Dschahān, Fasli dar Gol-e Sorkh, Ro’jā, Āftāb, Ketāb-e Noghteh, Khat, Poetry Periodical; also satirical verse in Āhangar und Asghar Āghā.
