Transportation

For general transportation information to the university, please visit this link.

From O'Hare: You can take the Omega Shuttle, which provides door-to-door service to Hyde Park for $30. If you do decide to take a cab, it will probably cost about $40~$60.

From Midway: You can take the 55 bus, which will take you to Hyde Park directly. You can also take the Omega Shuttle, which provides door-to-door service to Hyde Park for $17. Otherwise, taxi is also a good option. It costs about $25 if you ask the driver to take the local route (which goes down 55th street straight to Hyde Park) rather than Interstate-55.

If you're driving, follow the directions here.

If you are travelling light, you may want to take advantage of Chicago's mass transit system, which is relatively inexpensive and reliable. You can plan your route using the RTA TripsWeb.

Once you're on campus, everything that you can't reach via mass transit or taxi cab, you can reach by foot. Visit our campus map page for more information.
