Chicago Multicultural Connection

The Chicago Multicultural Connection aims to facilitate connections between students of color in the College and other members of the diverse University community. University of Chicago graduate students, staff, faculty, and alumni living in Chicago are all invited to serve as mentors.

Department of English Association of Students of Color

DEASC fosters a rich social and intellectual environment for students of color and for the wider community in the Department of English.

Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered, and Queer Student Groups

The University of Chicago has many active student groups concerned with LGBT issues. LGBTQ Resources links to organizations both off- and on-campus, and lists upcoming events.

Multicultural Recognized Student Organizations

Neighborhood Schools Program

The Neighborhood Schools Program, a project of the University's Office of Community Affairs, hires University of Chicago undergraduate and graduate students to assist elementary, middle, and high school classroom teachers in over forty nearby schools.

University Community Service Center

The University Community Service Center serves as a clearinghouse linking the University community to meaningful volunteer opportunities throughout the city.
