HPS: History and Philosophy of Science--CHSS and Fishbein Joint Workshop. The workshop meets at 4:00 p.m. in room 224 of the Social Science Research Building, 1126 E. 59th St.

HHS: History of Human Sciences-- Fishbein Center Workshop. Papers are available at least a week in advance in the Fishbein Center (Social Science Bldg., Room 206, 1126 E. 59th Street) and sent out electronically. The workshop meets at noon in Social Sciences Building, room 224.

About the Workshops

Workshop meetings are generally held in the Social Science Research Building (SS) of the University of Chicago at 1126 E. 59th street. For further information or for assistance in attending, please call the Fishbein Center office at (773) 702-8391.

Announcements of other activities (e.g., social gatherings, ad hoc lectures, readings for the Seminar on Important Things) are also communicated via the HPS list. To subscribe to this list, write to the Director of the Fishbein Center with such request.

This calender and the emali list are maintained jointly by the Fishbein Center and the CHSS program.

SOIT Readings

The Seminar on Important Things meets on alternate Fridays at noon in the Fishbein Center--the same days as HPS workshop. Members will be notified of the exact readings for discussion. Books will be available in the Seminary Co-op Bookstore.
