Special Exhibit: History of Women at the University of Chicago
History of Women Exhibit

For the past three years the Center for Gender Studies has been engaged in the History of Women Project. This project, undertaken by both faculty and students, was designed to collect, record, and present a major history of the role and experience of women at the University of Chicago.

The Center will be mounting an exhibit on the History of Women at the University of Chicago in special collections at the Regenstein Library in the Spring of 2009. The multimedia exhibit will include both archival material and oral histories collected from University of Chicago alumnae.
