DescriptionPLEASE JOIN US for a screening of the documentary film, The Making of "Thinking of You". Following the screening the will be a panel discussion: Art of Commemoration, The Nation & Memory. Particpating in the panel discussion will be Angelina Ilieva, Dhurata Osmani, and Nada Petkovic.

Description of Film:
On June 12, 2015, artist Alketa Mripa-Xhafa installed the art project "Thinking of You" to commemorate the survivors of wartime rape through the display of thousands of dresses in the football stadium of Pristina, Kosovo. The installation was materialized through the voluntary donation of dresses from survivors, activists, and donors in the aim to visually break the taboo of speaking about wartime rape in the country since the end of the war in 1999. The film "The Making of #MendojPĆ«rTy/#ThinkingofYou is produced by Anna Di Lellio and Fitim Shala documents the journey of the art project from its inception to its final revealing in the stadium of Pristina.
