Tableau

Tableau is a biannual magazine published by the Division of the Humanities to bring news of faculty and student research and achievement to our alumni and friends. Its features explore subjects currently animating the Division's scholarship, such as the development or history of a particular academic field, news of the creative and performing arts, or short articles on individual conferences and research projects. The magazine also regularly features lists of faculty honors and publications, student job placement, and alumni publications; biographies of new faculty members; donor profiles; and obituaries.

The Fall/Winter 2008 [link to pdf below] issue is now available online, as is a PDF archive of past issues.  This issue features an overview of the Persepolis Fortification Archive tablets from ancient Persia, virtual tourism in Renaissance Rome, reconfiguring multiculturalism and Jewish literature, the opening of the Karla Scherer Center for the Study of American Culture, recent faculty publications, donor honor roll, and more.
