The Kestnbaum Family Writer-in-Residence is sponsored by the Committee on Creative Writing at Chicago. The Kestnbaum brings writers of national and international prominence to the University, to honor the distinguished writers who are teaching and have taught at Chicago, to showcase the University's newly formed programs in creative writing, and to provide a workshop for writings in progress.
